Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Alper Sümer Güç (“we”, “us”, the developer behind alperguc.com and the “Deve Apps” mobile applications) handles information when you visit this website or use one of our iOS and Android apps. We try to collect as little as possible and to be plain about what happens to it.
The short version
- We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not sell your personal data.
- Most app data (favorites, history, settings) stays on your device.
- Some of our free apps show ads through Google AdMob, which may use device identifiers to serve and measure those ads.
- You can control or reset ad personalization in your device settings at any time.
Information we handle
On this website
This site is largely static. We may collect standard, non-identifying server and analytics information such as your approximate region, browser type, and the pages you view, in order to understand traffic and keep the site working. We do not use this to identify you personally.
In our apps
Our apps are designed to work without an account. Content you create — saved places, favorites, recent searches, preferences — is stored locally on your device unless a specific feature clearly states otherwise. Some apps request a permission (for example, location) only to provide the feature you asked for, such as showing your current GPS coordinates; that data is processed on the device and is not sent to us.
Advertising
Some of our free apps are supported by advertising provided through Google AdMob (and Google’s associated ad services). To serve, cap, and measure ads, these services may access or use device identifiers (such as an advertising ID), coarse location, IP address, and similar technical data. This processing is carried out by Google as described in Google’s own policies; we do not receive your individual personal data from it.
You can learn how Google uses information from apps that use its services here: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can reset your advertising identifier or limit ad personalization at any time:
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising.
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads, where you can reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of personalized ads.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the EU/UK GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to access, correct, or delete personal data and to opt out of personalized advertising. Where required, apps that show ads present a consent choice before any personalized advertising is used. Because we hold almost no personal data ourselves, most requests are handled directly through your device and ad settings as described above. If you have a question or request, email us at app@deve.net.
Children’s privacy
Our apps are intended for a general audience and are not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Data retention & security
Because most data lives on your device, you control it: deleting the app removes its local data. For the limited technical data described above, we keep it only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information we handle.
Third-party services
In addition to Google AdMob, some apps may use Google’s Firebase for crash reporting or basic, aggregated usage statistics that help us fix bugs and improve the apps. These services process data under Google’s terms and policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our apps evolve or as laws change. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes may also be noted in the relevant app.
